About Us
The Scrumdom.com website is designed to be a place to meet and greet, discuss, debate, learn, share anything and everything related to program/project management in general and the Agile/Scrum community in particular.
Scrumdom was created by Scrum Masters for Scrum Masters. The site will never be done. We will continue to ‘sprint’ into the future. We solicit your input and feedback to continually improve the quality and usability of this site.
We invite you to tour the site and take a look around. One of the favorite sections of veterans and newcomers alike is the Research Center. This is a collection of whitepapers, charts, slide decks, templates, tutorials, best practices, diagrams, sample documents and user experiences. Members can contribute documentation as well as download interesting and helpful information created by experienced practitioners. There is also a rating system so that members can rate the quality, applicability and didactical usefulness to real-world applications. BTW membership is FREE!
We are also interested in setting up topic discussions, chats, blogs and special events with industry leading speakers discussing topics suggested by our members. For more information click on the Contact Us button.
Register your local user group in our community listing so that local Agile/Scrum devotees can network with your group! Link to our site to provide your members a ready source of artifacts and reference materials to help them succeed.
For fun and amusement visit the ScrumMall for logowear, pens, coffee cups, mouse pads and more!
About our Mascot
The Super Pig idea came from a story about commitment. There is a growing body of information contained in our Research Center that can be consulted to communicate the theorems of Agile, Scrum, project management and related disciplines. We sincerely appreciate the time and effort expended by the mentors and contributors to this repository.
However a detached cold knowledge of these subjects does not in and of itself render the user a skilled doyenne. A true Scrum Master is committed not only to the advancement of ‘best-of-breed’ project management techniques and methodology but also to the continual improvement of her team as well as herself. It is to that spirit of committed espousal that this site and true Scrum Masters strive to achieve.
In a humorous story that illustrates the chasm between true commitment versus involvement you will find the genesis of our mascot.
